With so many products available, sometimes its hard to know what it best to use.
Below is a list of products that we have tried or been recommended by clients.
We also can recommend suppliers or where to go to get good sound advice and services.
Products:
 
All products below are available from Mad-dog Paula at PK Pets in Fleet.  Having been in the dog world for many years, Paula can advise on most thing doggy (and catty) so if you are having problems with your food or dogs condition, have a chat with P. 
Paula has also tasted most things in the shop with the belief of, if she wouldn't eat it, she wouldn't give it to her dogs.  :o)
 
Cortaflex - To help strengthen joints and muscles
 
Arden Grange - A UK rendered balanced kibble food
 
Gencon - A useful training aid to help with controlling your dog
This type of head collar correct from behind the dogs head, rather than underneath and so preventing the twisting of the dogs head/neck during correction.
 
DAP Diffuser - For help with nervous / anxious dogs
Vitamin B6, Rescue Remedy can also be helpful
 
Garlic and Fenugrek (by Dorwest Veterinary)
Garlic has antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-viral and has synergy with Fenugrek, which contains diosgenin which has anti-inflammatory properties and is also an anti-septic.
When given on a regular basis, garlic acts as an effective deterrent by making the skin a hostile environment to parasites that do no like the pungent odour.
 
Garlic and Fenugrek and also Mixed Vegetable tablets (also by Dorwest) can be used to control and ease dermatitis.
 
Evening Primrose Oil (by Dorwest Veterinary)
Promotes coat growth and when given on a regular basis can reduce scurfiness, alleviate dry skin, reduce excessive shedding and promote a healthy sheen.  It is also known for its stabilising effect on hormonal imbalances.
 
Scullcap & Valerian tablets (by Dorwest Veterinary)
Used to relieve anxiety, aid relaxation and reduce excessive salivation.
For frequent car travellers, a maintenace dose should be applied and for one off occasions, a dose can be administered approximately 12 hours before and again 2 hours before the journeym.  Use the dosage of 2 tablets per 5kg body weight.
 
Digestive Supplement tablets (by Dorwest Veterinary)
Used for pure motion sicknes, when no stress or anxiety is shown.  It soothes, settles and will comfort the digestive tract and shoule be administered two hours before the journey.
